Culture meets capitalism

Children walking up to cars acting for one cedi.

The sun is touching my skin, 

As we’re driving through my city.

Everybody is asking for money 

But I didn’t know that Ghanaian money was just a product of the colony

I am happy because I love my culture and I don’t see racism 

But I realised, that everywhere I go, I find European capitalism.
