Symposium & PhD Course New Perspectives on Transnational Living

On 19 October 2016, a symposium on transnational living was organized that brought together senior researchers, including Research Professor Jørgen Carling and professor Godfried Engbersen. The symposium coincided with a three-day PhD course (19-21 October), during which professor Valentina Mazzucato gave a lecture titled 'Doing multi-sited research'.

Valentina Mazzucato receives 500th ERC Grant in the Netherlands

On 16 June 2016, the 500th European Research Council (ERC) grant in the Netherlands was awarded to professor Valentina Mazzucato. She received a highly prestigious Consolidator Grant for her research project Mobility Trajectories of Young Lives (MO-TRAYL), which investigates the relation between migration and young people’s life chances.

Valentina Mazzucato speaks at WUN Migration Conference 2016

On 2-3 April 2016, the 2nd WUN Migration Conference was organized at Maastricht University’s the Faculty of Law. During this conference, professor Valentina Mazzucato gave a presentation about her ERC research project Mobility Trajectories of Young Lives (MO-TRAYL). She also was a member of the conference organising committee.
