MO-TRAYL Researcher Onallia Osei attends Summer School ‘Hands-on Anthropology and Collaborative Storytelling’

MO-TRAYL researcher Onallia Osei attended the Summer School ‘Hands-on anthropology and collaborative storytelling’, which took place at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on 8-22 July 2017.

The 'Hands-on anthropology and collaborative storytelling’ course introduced the participants to the hands-on approach called DAY: do anthropology yourself. It is about engaging actively with interlocutors to include them in the process of generating knowledge that represents them and their societies. In this way scientific endeavour is turned into a collaborative process that empowers both researchers and researched.
