MO-TRAYL Workshop Conceptualizing Youth by Roy Huijsmans
On 13 September 2017, the MO-TRAYL team engaged in a workshop titled "The sound of transnationalism" with dr. Roy Huijsmans, senior lecturer Children & Youth Studies at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) in The Hague.
The aim of the workshop was to discuss the scope and limitations of using popular culture - especially, popular music - to study transnationalism, focussing on youth.
The International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) is one of Europe's leading institutes in Development Studies. ISS is part of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
