On 20 February, MO-TRAYL PhD researcher Laura Ogden participated in a Community Engagement Masterclass with visiting Prof. Alan Irwin (Copenhagen Business School), organised by the Maastricht Platform for Community-Engaged Research (MPCER) and Studio Europa. Laura was one of seven junior and senior researchers who presented their experiences, strategies, and challenges with engaging communities in their research. Prof. Irwin provided feedback and engaged the audience in an interactive discussion around the benefits, limitations and possibilities of 'citizen science.'
