Laura Ogden presents at CIES2021 conference, 'Social Responsibility within Changing Contexts'
MO-TRAYL PhD candidate, Laura Ogden, presented at the online conference of the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES) on 29 April.
Laura's presentation was titled, 'Beyond the blank slate: Migrant youth activating educational capital from Ghana in German schools'. In the presentation, Laura shared findings from her fieldwork showing that young Ghanaians' schooling and family backgrounds in Ghana help them transition into the Hamburg school system following an international migration.
