MO-TRAYL Researcher Gladys Akom Ankobrey presents at Afroeuropeans Conference
On 6-8 July 2017, MO-TRAYL researcher Gladys Akom Ankobrey attended the sixth ‘Afroeuropeans: Black Cultures and Identities in Europe’ conference at the University of Tampere, Finland. She gave a presentation about her MA research on emerging forms of transnational community among Londoners of African descent.
The sixth ‘Afroeuropeans: Black Cultures and Identities in Europe’ conference brought together academics, artists, activists, and journalists to produce and share knowledge of the African and black diaspora communities and cultures across Europe.
The conference was organized by the University of Tampere together with the international Afroeuropean Cultures and Identities research network.
