Onallia Esther Osei participates in CARE: Challenges and solutions for a sustainable future conference
At this online conference in April 2021, MO-TRAYL PhD researcher, Onallia Esther Osei, presented a paper co-authored with Prof. Valentina Mazzucato and Dr. Karlijn Haagman about how children in Ghana activate their agency for staying connected with their migrant parents via ICT-mediated technologies.
At the same conference, Onallia participated in the early career researchers (ECRs) pre-conference workshop. The workshop offered Onallia and her co-authors an opportunity to reflect critically on their contributions to the 'sustainable care' concept from childhood, youth and migrants' origin country perspectives. Workshop attendees were able to give and receive feedback from mentors and other ECRs about how their projects advance Sustainable Care’s theoretical, empirical and methodological knowledge.
