The Summer School ‘Ethnography, Digital Objects and STS' took place in Ravenstein, the Netherlands.

During the Summer School, participants explored methodological specificities related to ‘the digital’, studied examples of research where either the research object or the methodology has a substantial digital component, and engaged in exercises and activities to enhance their research skills. Christine Hine acted as this year’s anchor teacher. Hine is a Reader at the Department of Sociology, University of Surrey.

The Netherlands Graduate Research School of Science, Technology and Modern Culture (WTMC) is a collective effort of Dutch scholars studying aspects of the development of science, technology and modern culture.
